Personal Energy

by Stuart Harris

How many times have you heard someone say that they just don’t have the energy to do something?

Have you noticed that some people seem to have more energy than others?

Energy and persistence conquer all things.

Benjamin Franklin (1706-90)

We all know that to be successful we need to get things done. And to get things done we need energy. Managing your energy levels is a prerequisite to success, so it is worth finding out how to do it.

Since the days of Albert Einstein, science has shown us that, if you look closely enough, everything is energy in one form or another. That means not just the obvious things, such as heat, light, sound and movement, but even apparently solid and inanimate objects, such as rocks.

Life engenders life. Energy creates energy. It is by spending oneself that one becomes rich.

Sarah Bernhardt (1844–1923)

Energy is all around us, and also in us. In fact, we are energy. Einstein proved that. So how do we manage our energetic selves to get the most from our lives?

Energy is eternal delight.

William Blake (1757–1827)

This topic is for busy, perhaps even stressed, people who would like to increase their energy levels in a healthy way in order to get more out of their waking hours.

We all know what it is like to be brimming with energy and ready to do just about anything. Having lots of energy is enjoyable. Energy is fun!
