About the author
Don Morley, DPhil, FCMA, FCT, mt, originally trained as an accountant with Hawker Siddeley and GEC/Marconi before spending seventeen years in senior finance roles in US multinationals. At Johnson Wax he held positions in Holland and Spain as well as in the European Headquarters before becoming Finance Director of the UK subsidiary. Subsequently, he was UK and then European Controller of Amdahl Inc.
Since 1986 he has preferred to specialise in training and development. For eleven years he combined senior management development roles in NatWest Bank with a professorship at the International Management Centres Business School. These activities involved him in many in-house programmes for blue chip organisations and the subject of his doctorate was ‘the learning organisation’.
In 1997 he co-founded 3D Training and Development which designs and delivers programmes worldwide for the purpose of making organisations more successful by making people more effective in their roles. Workshops are always highly practical and tailored to the needs of the organisation. They reflect what works in practice and a passion for simplifying the increasing complexity of today’s workplace, particularly when it comes to influencing and managing ‘the politics’.
