Debbie Leven has more than 14 years of experience working in PR and marketing – advising and supporting organisations in the public, private and charitable sectors. That includes: working with NHS organisations to help get them exposure to millions of people with ‘good news’ stories; securing endorsement from well-known personalities, including John Cleese, Tony Blair and Sir Ranulph Fiennes for a children’s charity; and crisis management support for the tunnel collapse at Gerrards Cross and the Buncefield explosion. In 2003 Debbie won the Public Relations Consultants’ Association Frontline Award for Best Healthcare Campaign.
Debbie set up Profile Matters in 2006 to help small businesses and charities/not-for-profit organisations make more of profile raising opportunities. The aim is to enable them to access the help, resources, knowledge and expert advice to put profile raising plans into action, without breaking the bank.
